Introduction

Welcome to the National Junior Faculty (NJF) bi-annual survey!

This survey is organised by the NJF, an umbrella organization comprising several participating local organizations (listed below) at higher education institutions in Sweden. It is intended for individuals working in Swedish academia who have obtained a PhD but have not yet obtained a truly permanent position. If this describes you, we warmly invite you to participate. If not, we kindly ask you to refrain from completing the survey to help us streamline data processing.

Participation is voluntary, you may choose not to take part or stop at any time. By completing the survey, you provide implied consent, indicating your agreement to participate.

Your responses are anonymous, and results will be presented at a group level. The survey includes questions about demographics, career path, and quality of life. Its purpose is to gain insight into the professional situation of early-career and senior researchers in Sweden. This helps us identify areas of concern and collaborate with other organizations to advocate for improved working conditions.

Your feedback is vitally important to the future of early-career researchers. Thank you for your time!
