In a previous Infection Retreat, we are introduced a new session, the INTERACTOMICS session, which content is determined by the participant by suggesting topics, potential speakers, and the format! This session was highly liked and by popular demand we will have it again this year!

What is the INTERACTOMICS session?
• A new and fun opportunity to network and exchange ideas
• A dynamic forum for raw ideas, methodological and data challenges and whatever else is suggested
• A way to offer interdisciplinary interactions with a peer-to-peer spirit in a relaxed environment

How is the set-up?
• 3 sessions, 20 minutes/session

• Both topics and format can include ideas, puzzling findings, methodological and data challenges, pro and cons debate etc., see examples below

• There can 1-3 speakers per topic. The speakers can be anyone!

What do we need from you?
• To suggest speakers, topic and the format (either volunteer yourself and/or suggest someone else).

• Think broadly – any topic related to science is welcome!

During the KI Infection Retreat 2022, we had the sessions; "Which cell is the best?", a light-hearted, short debate battle between representatives (PhD students and PostDocs) of different immune cells. This session was followed by "Which pathogen is the best?", a similar debate between representatives of different pathogen groups. Finally we had "KI Infection Retreat Quiz" were broad questions about anything and everything infection related determined the KI Infection Retreat Quiz Master.
